Engine 52 on Battalion 70 Building Fire

July 18th, 2010 – Just after 1800 hours communications transmitted an alarm for a building fire Summerlin Trace Condominiums in the 14000 block of Cypress Trace Court. Units from the 70th Battalion responded and reported a working fire upon arrival with multiple exposures.

Command requested additional companies to be relocated into the 70th Battalion for coverage. Engine 52 transferred to Station 73 and while en route Command requested multiple additional companies to respond to the scene for work.

Engine 52 operated for just over three hours before returning to service.
